New Infiniti Car Available for Download on Gran Turismo 6

Last week we talked about the new Infiniti design studio that was opened in Beijing, China. Many of you wondered what this group was working on. We now have more information–keep reading to find out more.

Infiniti has partnered with Sony Computer Entertainment to bring you a new car for your PlayStation3 system. It is called the Infiniti Concept Vision Gran Turismo. It all started as an Infiniti design competition to “design a pure Infiniti GT car.” The winning design came from the new design studio in Beijing (see, we told you we would find out what they were working on soon!) Designers were asked to not only design a pretty sketch, but to figure out how this car would be engineered, what technical features would it include, how the engine would perform, etc.

Infiniti collaborated with the Gran Turismo creators to bring you this digital concept of what a high performance Infiniti vehicle could look like in the future. For those of you who don’t know Gran Turismo is a racing game franchise that has sold more than 72 million copies worldwide. If you want to experience this vehicle for yourself, it is available for download when you play Gran Turismo 6 on your PlayStation3 today!
