Infiniti And Their Exceptional Technologies

This week, automakers from around the world gathered in Los Angeles for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show. Infiniti used this gathering to commemorate the brands 25^th year anniversary. What better way to celebrate the past success than looking forward to future success? Keep reading more about what Infiniti had up their sleeve for the 2014 Los Angeles Auto Show.

RearView Monitor – This was introduced to the car world by Infiniti in 2002. Since its inception, it has become very popular due to the safety it provides. In fact, this technology is so important it is now mandated to be on all cars sold in the US by 2018.

Lane Departure Warning – This feature was introduced on the 2005 Infiniti FX. Infiniti created this feature in response to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) finding that more than half of all traffic deaths we cause by a lane departure. Infiniti expanded its lane departure warning into an entire prevention system in 2008 on the Infiniti M.
