Infiniti Sedans Sell Well in the Month of August

Infiniti recently released their August sales numbers and it looks like it was a good month for the Infiniti Q50 and the Infiniti G37. Infiniti also released information about the new 2015 Infiniti Q70, which we talked a little bit about last week. Keep reading for more information on August Infiniti sales.

The Infiniti Q50 and the Infiniti G37, which are both luxury sports sedans, rose 29 percent for the entire 2014 year and Infiniti Q50 sales were up 9.1 percent in August. The Infiniti G37 is a model that has been around for years – proving its worth. This vehicle comes in three body styles – the sedan, the coupe and the convertible.

The Infiniti Q50 is an all-new model for 2014. This vehicle  was introduced as the Infiniti G37 replacement. It comes in two main variants; the Infiniti Q50 and the Infiniti Q50 Hybrid. There are three trim levels for the Infiniti Q50 – base, premium and Sport – while the Infiniti Q50 Hybrid comes in premium and Sport trims.

Powering the Infiniti Q50 is a 3.7-liter V6 engine that produces 358 horsepower and 269 lb-ft of torque. The Hybrid however has a 3.5-liter V6 combined with a 50-kilowatt electric motor and a lithium-ion battery pack. This combination produces 354 horsepower. All vehicles come with a seven-speed automatic transmission, rear-wheel drive is standard and all-wheel drive is optional.
