Looking Forward: What Infiniti Has In Store

Infiniti has been rolling out the new model year vehicles, which is always very exciting. But COO Andy Palmer hints there’s even more on the horizon for Infiniti.

In a recent tweet from Palmer, he says “Johan de Nysschen just said that we’ll build our (Infiniti) Q30 premium compact car and QX30 crossover in the UK next year. I’m proud.” You can only get so much in 140 characters, but if we’re reading it correctly it sounds like two new Infiniti vehicles will be in production and on lots next year.

It has been quite a while now that Infiniti has been talking about and working on a premium compact vehicle. Just last yea,r Infiniti revealed the Infiniti Q30 concept at the Frankfurt Motor Show. We’re excited to hear it’s not too far off from reality.

So what can you expect to see from the Infiniti Q30? You will definitely see a contemporary and artful design both inside and out. It will lean to the sporty side with a unique wheels-at-the-corners stance. Infiniti says this vehicle is inspired by their racing heritage. Inside the vehicle you will see subtle violet highlights and carbon fiber surfaces. There aren’t many more details yet – but we are sure it will be something to talk about!
