More about Infiniti Technology

Infiniti is known for their innovative, ground breaking technology. They are always setting the bar a little higher for their competitors.  A few weeks ago we talked about some of the Infiniti technologies like the Blind Spot Warning system. And today we will highlight a few more.

One of the many cool features included on Infiniti vehicles is the Intelligent Cruise Control. This technology doesn’t just set a cruising speed; it takes into account the other vehicles around you. The system will automatically slow down when traffic in front of the vehicle slows down in order to help the driver maintain a safe distance from the other cars. However, when traffic clears the vehicle will resume the original set cruising speed. Imagine that – a cruise control that thinks!

Another technology to highlight is the Lane Departure Prevention or LDP. This technology uses a small camera to keep an eye on the lane markings and how far they are from the vehicle. If the camera senses the vehicle drifting towards the lane markers you will hear an audible warning. Then the brakes will be applied to help move the vehicle back into the original lane.
