More awards for the Infiniti brand!
Last Thursday was a marvelous day for the Infiniti brand as there was much to be proud of at this year’s annual Montreal International Auto Show. The Japanese automaker was honored by the Automobile Journalists Association of Canada (AJAC) by winning not one, but two “Best New Technology” Awards! The extremely popular, “Direct Adaptive Steering” system along with the “Predictive Forward Collision Warning” system were the specific technologies to receive this prestigious award. These “world’s-first” technologies can be found on the all-new Infiniti Q50 premium sport’s sedan.
Director of Infiniti Canada Wendy Durward commented, “It is a thrill and an honor to have so many of Canada’s top journalists recognize these worlds-first technologies and their impact to not only the industry, but also the benefits to the individual driver. The Infiniti Q50 sports sedan represents our commitment to finding new levels of inspired performance. Having AJAC recognize it as the best new luxury car over $50,000 as well as name two of its technologies as the best of the year is great feedback that we’ve done just that.”
Powering the all-new Infiniti Q50 is a standard 3.7-liter aluminum-alloy V6 engine that emits a hefty 328-hp and 269 lb-ft of torque. Adding along to the “premium” mantra is the audio system that comes with an optional next-generation Infiniti Studio on Wheels by Bose audio system!
