The Infiniti Fuel Efficient Options Grow

It is a new V6 gasoline engine that produces 450 horsepower. This V6 engine is supported by an electric motor that is powered by a Li-Ion battery pack. The battery pack and electric motor add 100 horsepower, making it almost 550 total horsepower.

There are also other ways this engine increases fuel efficiency. One way is through the Direct Response Hybrid system. This only consumes 5.5L/100km, making it the most efficient hybrid system in its class.  The other is through the twin turbochargers, 9-speed automatic gearbox and direct fuel injection.
