Infiniti QX80 Named Top Of Segment In APEAL Study

Infiniti is excited to have one of its luxury vehicles be named in the top of its segment in the J.D. Power 2015 U.S Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout study, also known as APEAL. The vehicle? The Infiniti QX80. Keep reading for more information.

The Infiniti QX80 had a 2015 score of 877, which is a 23 point improvement from 2014. But that wasn’t the only vehicle that was recognized. The Infiniti Q70 ranked third in the Midsize Premium Car segment with a score of 873 points.

The APEAL study just celebrated its 20^th year and is respected for its insight on new vehicles. This study measures how gratifying a new vehicle is to own and drive, based on customer feedback on 77 vehicle attributes of new 2015 model year vehicles. New owners are sent a survey after 90 days of ownership. According to J.D. Power, “the most appealing vehicles have greater owner loyalty, command higher transaction prices and spend less time on dealer lots before purchase.”
