Infiniti Reports Quarterly Sales Growth
Infiniti set out on an aggressive growth plan and strategy a little over a year ago. Since then Infiniti has continued to meet their goals and grow as a company. This past quarter set another record by selling more than 52,000 vehicles, which is a 12 percent year-on-year increase and the best quarter in Infiniti sales history. Each of the Infiniti regions achieved positive growth. The U.S. in particular increased 8 percent when compared to quarter one of 2014, selling 33,800 vehicles. The top selling model is the Infiniti Q50 sports sedan, which had over a 50 percent increase when compared to quarter one of 2014 and increased its volume in every Infiniti region. The Infiniti Q70 had a 50 percent growth globally and the Infiniti QX80 grew 21 percent globally.
“These results are a strong proof point that Infiniti is on a successful growth path, establishing itself as one of the key premium brands globally. We have secured strong momentum and a strong foundation for the coming fiscal year,” said Roland Krüger, president of Infiniti Motor Company, Limited. “We are pleased to see that Infiniti has made significant progress, transforming itself into a global premium automotive brand. We are confident that we will achieve another year of strong performance.”
