Infiniti Wraps Up The Coaches Charity Challenge With Check Presentation
Many of you already know that Infiniti has a strong commitment to the communities they serve. For the fifth year in a row Infiniti partnered with NCAA Division I men’s basketball and the National Association of Basketball Coaches for the Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge. The challenge completed at the end of March but Randy Parker, Vice President of Infiniti Americas, recently presented the checks to the winners. Keep reading for more information.
The presentation of the checks took place at the Infiniti Americas headquarters in Tennessee. Head coach Matt Painter and the Purdue Boilermakers fans won the overall challenge and Infiniti donated $100,000 to the Smith Break Thru Fund. Through the Infiniti Coaches Charity Challenge a total of $267,500 was donated to various other philanthropic organizations. But that’s not all! Infiniti also pledged to make a charitable contribution to the Coaches vs. Cancer program each time a fan participated in the Round by Round bracket game during March Madness. Through that competition Infiniti donated $731,500 to Coaches vs. Cancer. Infiniti is the largest corporate donor to this program.
“We’re honored to continue our support of the Coaches’ Charity Challenge, the NABC and the American Cancer Society through Coaches vs. Cancer,” said Parker. “Coach Painter and the Purdue Boilermakers did a wonderful job rallying to win the Challenge in support of the Smith BReaK Thru Fund. We’re proud to make a donation to such a deserving organization.”
